Why should I try the Get Started Rock Climbing course with NEOA?

11 July 2018 rock climbing

Undoubtedly, this course will equip you with foundation level skills required for safe rock climbing. And will be carried out over a period of five days. Moreover, by visiting a range of venues throughout the week, you will begin to develop a sound climbing technique. As well as appropriate use of equipment and its safe use. Ultimately, throughout this course, you will gain the skills and experience to allow you to complete a lifetime of rock climbing.

Who is the course suitable for?

You do not have to have any previous experience of rock climbing. However, a willingness to have fun and do climbing is necessary. Unquestionaby, you will learn all of the skills needed to get you started with rock climbing.

What will I be doing during the course?

We understand that everyone learns at different paces. Simultaneously, this is why our courses are suited to individual needs. At NEOA, we have a small staff to student ratio. Meaning that we can dedicate plenty of time to teach you everything you need to know. Unquestionably, at a speed that suits you. However, the weather conditions and overall group requirements also determine the tempo of the course. Specifically, on the first two days, you can expect to spend time on single pitch crags. Then over the last three, you will be separated into smaller groups for larger multi pitch crags.
